Youth For Christ
Since 1944, Youth for Christ has had a distinctive history of youth evangelism. This history of Youth for Christ reveals a commitment to reaching out to every young person, in every group, in every nation giving them the opportunity to make an informed decision regarding the message of Christ and becoming a part of a local church. YFC/USA is a chartered program of Youth for Christ International.
Youth for Christ encourages young people to make a difference in their world beginning with their families and friends. City Life, the Portland Chapter, helps young people to develop attitudes and behavior patterns that allow them to function more constructively in society. The City Life program emphasizes, teaching basic life skills, providing opportunity for relationships with caring adult role models, positive peer group experiences and sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
